Diamondback Winter Shooting League 2008
The winter league will begin February 7 and end April 3 for League I.
The winter league will begin February 5 and end April 1 for League II.
There will be courses-of –fire for both center fire and rim fire handguns for both leagues. Hand guns only. No optics or scopes. Participants may shoot either or both categories. A league member’s privileges to compete may be revoked at any time by Diamondback Shooters management upon witnessed instances of unsafe gun handling or other safety infractions.
League I will shoot Thursday nights starting at 6:00PM and continue until all participants have shot.
League II will shoot Tuesday nights starting at 6:00PM and continue until all participants have shot.
Anyone who is unable to shoot on league night should fire that week’s course of fire earlier in the week. Anyone unable to shoot on league night due to an emergency can make up that week’s course of fire by the following Saturday until noon. After this time the participant will have a recorded score of zero for that week. No exceptions.
The cost will be $6.00 per category per week. The cost includes $5.00 for lane rental and targets and $1.00 towards the end of league awards and party. Payment is required before shooting each week. No exceptions.
Everyone else who participated that week will receive 5 bonus points. Five bonus points will be the minimum score for anyone who participates in a weekly course of fire.
The first week’s course of fire will be a “Qualifer Shoot”. Participants will shoot the same course of fire with various slow, timed and rapid fire targets. Each participant will receive a score they may use to determine which league they may want to join. This is not mandatory. Any shooter can shoot on any league; this is to be used only as a guideline.
